Mike Hostinsky is a Partner and service line leader in Bennett Thrasher’s Risk Advisory practice. He leads and delivers System and Organization Controls (SOC) attestation examinations and readiness assessments, internal audit outsourcing and co-sourcing engagements, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 internal control reviews and business process improvement projects. His industry experience includes manufacturing and distribution, technology, professional services and nonprofit.
Prior to Bennett Thrasher, Mike was a Principal at Windham Brannon, an Atlanta-based accounting firm, in its Risk Assurance and Consulting practice. He was also a Vice President at Teavana Corporation, a specialty tea retailer, where he was responsible for establishing and leading risk management and internal control compliance activities prior to its acquisition by Starbucks. Mike also worked as a Senior Manager at Grant Thornton and in multiple business consulting roles at Arthur Andersen and BearingPoint.
Mike is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
