Chris Frederick is a Partner in our Dispute Resolution and Forensics practice in which his primary focus is within our Insurance & Claims group. Chris has extensive experience in the management of engagements related to business interruption & extra expense, property damage, reported values, litigation support and forensic accounting. He has managed diverse projects in such areas as manufacturing, retail, hospitality, healthcare, telecommunications, and legal matters, including participation in appraisals, arbitrations, mediations and testifying in both Superior and Federal courts. Chris has also presented at a variety of seminars to attorneys and the insurance industry on pertinent issues related to the measurement of damages and other forensic topics.
Prior to joining Bennett Thrasher, Chris spent six years at Navigant Consulting in its Atlanta-based Disputes & Investigations practice providing accounting expertise in various insurance claims matters. Chris began his career in 1992 at Matson, Driscoll & Damico where he specialized in loss accounting for adjusters and insurers. He worked in both their Atlanta and Seattle offices where he was responsible for all office-related matters including business development, project management & employee training.
Chris is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in both Georgia and Washington, Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He graduated from Clemson University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA), the Washington Society of CPAs (WSCPA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
