Bennett Thrasher is pleased to share that it will be hosting its ninth annual Break Through Conference this summer. The conference, which hosts undergraduate accounting students who are interested in pursuing a career in public accounting, will be held virtually for the second year in a row from June 3-4, 2021. In 2020, 65 students attended, the largest group since the conference’s inception, from the University of Georgia, Auburn University and Kennesaw State University, among others.
Conference attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry professionals of all levels to understand more about their work experience and BT’s unique culture and offerings. During the conference, formal breakout sessions will also be held to cover a variety of topics relevant to accounting, including:
- Tax vs. audit
- BT’s specialty service lines, including Transaction Advisory, State & Local Tax, Credits & Incentives, Risk Advisory, Valuation, Disputes Resolution & Forensics and Wealth Management
