Bennett Thrasher’s Restaurant Practice Holds 3rd Southeastern Restaurant Industry Finance & Accounting Roundtable

Bennett Thrasher’s Restaurant Practice recently hosted the 3rd Southeastern Restaurant Industry Finance & Accounting Roundtable. The half-day event was held at the Cobb Energy Centre with a premiere line up of speakers. The keynote speaker, John Hamburger of Franchise Times, gave attendees an insightful presentation on the status of the restaurant industry. John addressed the current trends among the various restaurant segments as well as the impact to Chipotle and other restaurants facing food contamination cases. Other presenters included Wells Fargo, Brookwood Associates, BIP Capital, Equicorp Partners, McGriff Seibels & Williams, Imagine Media and Arnall Golden Gregory. The Georgia Restaurant Association also provided a brief update on some of the hot legislative topics impacting the industry. Restaurant finance executives were able to glean insight from the speakers covering a number of related topics and network with other leading professionals in the Southeast.
