Timothy Watt


Tim Watt is a Partner in Bennett Thrasher’s Tax department and co-leader of the Hospitality practice. He focuses primarily on complex tax consulting, technical partnership issues, structuring and tax accounting methods. Tim has extensive experience serving domestic and foreign-owned private business concerns in the U.S. real estate, restaurant and hospitality industries, including the following:

Tim began his career in Atlanta with Arthur Andersen, where he worked as an Auditor in their Assurance practice serving public and privately-held manufacturing and healthcare clients. He then spent more than two years at Jones & Kolb CPAs in Atlanta, providing audit and tax services for real estate, investment and family partnerships, closely-held corporations, individuals and not-for-profit organizations.
