Nina Desai is a Senior Tax Manager in the Credits and Incentives practice, where she focuses on R&D tax credits. She supports the firm’s National R&D Tax Credit Practice and serves as a firm wide resource in the area of tax research and consulting, where she applies a broad range of tax knowledge in the area of tax credit incentives. Nina has 4 years of experience in public accounting, with industry experience in technology, manufacturing, engineering and architecture and medical devices. Nina has helped claim tax credits for startups and Fortune 500 companies, performed technical interviews with subject matter experts and prepared technical memorandums.
Nina is a licensed attorney and earned her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. She also graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in accounting. Nina frequently gives educational presentations to startup companies highlighting the benefits of R&D tax credits, including Atlanta Tech Village and Four Athens. Nina is the author of various articles and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and AICPA.
