Jim Dougherty is a Partner at Bennett Thrasher and leads the Technology Services service line. Jim has over 20+ years of experience as an IT practitioner supporting business across market segments spanning SMB’s up to publicly traded enterprise scale companies.
Jim’s experience includes hands-on infrastructure design, deployment, and support including Layer 2/3 network principals, Active Directory domain architecture, and local and organization-wide policy enforcement.
Prior to joining Bennett Thrasher, Jim was the Chief Operating Officer of an Atlanta-based IT consulting and support company for 6 years. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Technology Services group, Jim provides fractional IT Director services, cybersecurity assessments based on the NIST 2.0 cybersecurity framework (CSF), disaster recovery plan development and testing, and general technology consulting.
