James Pickett, Director of Tax Controversy, will be giving an overview of recent IRS changes at several upcoming speaking events in both Atlanta and Macon. His presentation will highlight the latest developments at the IRS including the IRS reorganization in the Large Business International (LBI) Division which will impact the way IRS approaches field audit work for the foreseeable future not only in the LBI Division but eventually in the Small Business/Self-Employed (SB/SE) Division as well. James will also provide a brief overview of the IRS use of data analytics as a tool to compensate for its loss of personnel and share key updates to IRS services impacting the tax practitioner community.
