Senior Manager
Connor Nies is a Senior Manager in Bennett Thrasher’s Financial Reporting & Assurance practice, serving domestic and international clients ranging from middle-market companies to large organizations across both the private and public sectors. He has extensive experience performing and managing financial statement audits, attestation engagements and co-sourced internal audit services. Connor works closely with client leadership teams to navigate complex financial reporting requirements, strengthen reporting processes and address evolving accounting and compliance challenges.
His industry experience includes work with manufacturing and distribution, technology and hospitality organizations, as well as companies operating in multi-entity and multinational environments. Throughout his career, he has assisted clients with a variety of assurance and reporting matters, working alongside organizations to maintain accurate financial reporting while supporting operational growth and strategic objectives.
Connor joined Bennett Thrasher in 2018 and has advanced through progressively increasing leadership roles within the firm’s Financial Reporting & Assurance practice. In his current role, he leads engagement teams, mentors staff and serves as a trusted advisor to clients.
Connor earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he graduated with highest honors. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Georgia.
