Kent Mathis is a Senior Manager in Bennett Thrasher’s State and Local Tax practice, providing consulting services for sales/use taxes and state/local tax credits and incentives. Kent has broad experience in state and local tax across various industries including manufacturing and distribution, telecommunications and technology.

Kent previously worked in the Multistate Tax practice at Deloitte, assisting with taxability research, sales/use tax overpayment reviews, product mapping and voluntary disclosure agreements. Kent later worked in the Indirect Tax practice at Georgia-Pacific/Koch, assisting with tax credits and incentives, indirect tax planning and sales/use tax audits.

Kent is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Georgia.
