Bill Albaugh is a Tax professional of counsel with Bennett Thrasher. He has provided over thirty years of expertise to clients in the areas of corporate and international taxation. His career began with KPMG LLP in the firm’s Houston, TX office and quickly progressed where he served in various roles including Subchapter C technical resource in the firm’s Washington National Tax Practice, Resident U.S. International Tax Partner in the firm’s London, England office and International Tax Partner in the firm’s Atlanta, GA office. Bill specializes in assisting corporate client’s structure cross-border mergers and acquisitions and has been engaged by corporations of various sizes to provide advice and counsel on many inbound and outbound restructuring transactions. Bill has also been an Adjunct Professor at Georgia State University leading teaching responsibilities in the Graduate School of Business’ course on the “Taxation of Corporations and Shareholders.”
Bill received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Section of Taxation), the American Institute of CPA’s, and the Georgia and Louisiana Society of CPAs.
