Amber is a Senior Manager in our Business Transformation Services Practice. In this practice, we strive to enable timely financial and operational visibility, while providing measures of control, for our clients through a combination of business transformation services and managed accounting and technology services.
Prior to joining Bennett Thrasher, Amber held various Director and Executive Finance roles in privately held organizations, including fast growing and tech-enabled services, SAAS and professional service firms. In addition to these roles, she helped to create a service line similar to the one at Bennett Thrasher’s Business Transformation Services at an Atlanta-based, full-service financial firm. Amber’s career began with staff and senior accountant roles in publicly traded organizations including National Service Industries and Mirant.
Amber earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and her Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Virginia Society of CPAs. Amber has a passion for community involvement and is actively involved with multiple non-profits in the Atlanta-area. She is currently serving on the Women of UGA Leadership Council and is an inaugural member of the UGA EMBA Alumni Network Board.
