Bennett Thrasher is pleased to share that it will be hosting its ninth annual Break Through Conference this summer. The conference, which hosts undergraduate accounting students who are interested in pursuing a career in public accounting, will be held virtually for the second year in a row from June 3-4, 2021.
Beginning your career can be an overwhelming experience, especially during a pandemic. To help students successfully navigate the job process in today’s virtual environment, Nicole Pearce, Assistant Director of Strategic Partnerships at Kennesaw State University, launched Career Conversations, a video series on LinkedIn that provides students with career-related tips and tricks. In one of her recent videos, she spoke with Jabari Scott, Bennett Thrasher’s Talent Acquisition Coordinator, and asked for his advice on how to maximize remote internships.
Bennett Thrasher recently hosted the eighth annual Break Through Conference, a two-day summer leadership event for 65 undergraduate students. This year’s virtual conference, which was the largest since its inception, attracted students from over 15 colleges and universities across the country, including the University of Georgia, Auburn University and Kennesaw State University.
Bennett Thrasher’s talent acquisition team hosted close to 70 students for office visits to be considered for our 2020 internship program. We value the time students took to speak with our team and experience firsthand BT’s unique culture.
On Thursday, August 8, the BT recruiting team held the second annual Campus Recruiting Happy Hour, to officially kickoff the fall campus recruiting season. The firm recognizes that campus recruiting is not only our #1 recruiting source, but it also helps us develop a robust network and pipeline with the universities and the cities they are in, as we continue to grow.
Bennett Thrasher proudly hosted 40 students for the 7th annual Break Through summer leadership conference at our offices in Atlanta, GA the first week of June. These students represented 14 different universities across the country and were exposed to a multitude of topics and networking events with BT associates and partners during the conference.
Although the firm welcomed 15 interns to the Bennett Thrasher family in January, we are busy preparing for our spring recruiting season. During the spring, the firm recruits for our summer leadership Break Through Conference, which will be held June 6-7 this year.
Bennett Thrasher is preparing to host our 6th annual “Break Through” summer conference on June 21st and 22nd. During our conference, we will cover a variety of topics pertaining to the transition from accounting student to CPA as well as provide networking opportunities for students to get to know our associates.
