The BT Foundation is proud to announce it has donated 128 boxes of food to the Center for Family Resources’ annual Thanks for Giving food drive. This year’s food drive provides Thanksgiving meals and pantry staples for individuals and families in Cobb County who have been directly impacted by COVID-19.

“2020 has been a challenging year, but I am inspired by our associates who have come together and volunteered their time and monetary resources to support those in need,” said Joel Smith, BT Foundation President and the firm’s Controller. “We are thankful for the Center for Family Resources and its commitment to provide the services families need during these unprecedented times.”

To assemble the Thanks for Giving food boxes, teams were formed across the firm’s departments and service lines. Through this friendly competition, associates donated nearly $7,500 of food, surpassing 6,200 pounds total.

The Thanks for Giving food drive, which is in its 35th year, has a goal of 1,000 food boxes for 1,000 families. To learn more about the Center for Family Resources and how you can support its initiatives, visit www.thecfr.org.
