Bennett Thrasher is proud to announce that the firm is joining other businesses across the state in taking the Georgia Safety Promise.

Created to support Georgia businesses as they reopen during the coronavirus pandemic, the Georgia Safety Promise designation shows a business’s commitment to operating while using the safety guidelines established by the Governor’s office and the Georgia Department of Public Health. Measures being taken in the office include promoting social distancing, wearing a face covering, cleaning surfaces regularly and sanitizing hands.

“Bennett Thrasher is proud to be a part of this program and do our part to create a safe environment for employees while also contributing to Georgia’s economic recovery,” said Jeff Eischeid, Managing Partner of Bennett Thrasher. “We understand and emphasize the value and importance of working together and looking out for each other’s safety during this time.”

The Georgia Safety Promise Program also provides an opportunity to encourage residents to act in a socially responsible way for the good of all Georgians and to support local businesses as they recover from the financial effects of COVID-19.

The initiative is led by the Office of the Governor and includes the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Georgia Department of Public Health, Georgia Bankers Association and Georgia NFIB. The campaign was developed based on recommendations from the Governor’s Coronavirus Task Force Economic Impact Committee, chaired by State Fiscal Economist Dr. Jeffrey Dorfman.
