Allianz, one of the world's largest financial services firms, recently conducted a survey which found business interruption (BI) and cybercrime to be major concerns for businesses in the near future. The results of the survey do not necessarily come as a huge surprise, however, it is interesting to note while business interruption and supply chain, ranked at 46%, continue to lead the perceived risks in 2015, there is concern that cybercrime will rise significantly. In 2015, those surveyed placed cybercrime in 5th position at 17%; but when survey respondents were asked to identify perceived risks for the next five 5 years, cybercrime led the way at @ 37% compared to business interruption at @ 11%.
