In June 2011, Bennett Thrasher co-hosted an event with the consulting firm, The Intersect Group. The guest speaker for this special occasion was Michael McQuary, CEO of Wheego Electric Cars.

McQuary spoke on the history of Wheego Electric Cars, as well as the viability of electric cars in the US on a long term basis. Bennett Thrasher Shareholder Scott Hazy has been elected President of the Board of Directors and Shareholder Cary Rodin has been elected Chair of the Tax Committee of DFK International. Scott has served as the President-elect for the past 2 years and Cary has been very involved in DFK’s International practice for the past several years.
