Rick Bennett, Co-Founding Shareholder of the Atlanta-based CPA firm Bennett Thrasher PC has been announced as the 2008 Community Champion for Kate’s Club.

“Rick understands the importance of Kate’s Club and as a respected leader in our community; he is committed to helping make a difference. He leads with integrity, compassion, and a zest for life: three characteristics we value as an example for the children served through our programs. We are honored to have Rick’s support and are thrilled to recognize him as this year’s Kate’s Club Community Champion”, states Kate’s Club Founder, Kate Atwood.

Kate’s Club is a non-profit organization that empowers children and teens facing life after the death of a parent or sibling. Aimed at creating an environment of friendship and camaraderie around their shared experiences, Kate’s Club provides programs to guide children through their grief journey in a fun, safe and uplifting setting. All programs for Kate’s Club kids are free of charge.
