In June 2011, Bennett Thrasher co-hosted an event with the consulting firm, The Intersect Group. The guest speaker for this special occasion was Michael McQuary, CEO of Wheego Electric Cars.

McQuary spoke on the history of Wheego Electric Cars, as well as the viability of electric cars in the US on a long term basis.
