On March 18, President Obama signed a $17.6-billion jobs package, the Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment - HIRE Act. The new law provides a payroll tax exemption for businesses that hire workers who have been unemployed for 60 days or more and an extension of 2008 and 2009 expensing thresholds to $250,000 for qualified capital expenditures, such as new equipment.

Bennett Thrasher and the BT Track Club will be participating in the ING Georgia Marathon on Sunday, March 21, 2010 in Atlanta, GA.  The BT Track Club will have 21 associates running either the Full or Half Marathon with another 10 Bennett Thrasher associates volunteering at the finish line.  The marathon both begins and ends in Centennial Olympic Park and will start at 7:00am.
