Bennett Thrasher Launches Diversity & Inclusion Training Series | Bennett Thrasher Skip to main content

Each year, our community is becoming more and more diverse. Bennett Thrasher’s Better Together brand and cultural foundation calls us to broaden our understanding of the community we live in for the benefit of our associates, our clients and fellow community members.  Understanding the importance of inclusion and the benefits of a diverse community will help us establish and enhance both personal and professional relationships while developing lifelong partnerships. Our Diversity and Inclusion committee was formed to help us identify opportunities to accomplish these goals as we seek to create an inclusive and diverse community within our firm.

Bennett Thrasher’s Diversity and Inclusion committee has been working for several months to source a dynamic and engaging professional to lead our efforts in educating the firm. We are excited to announce our first training session speaker, Anne Loehr. Anne has worked with many organizations including Facebook, the US State Department, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Emory University, Booz Allen Hamilton, Merrill Lynch, the US Air Force, the US Army and many others in their efforts to improve their leadership efforts in areas including diversity and inclusion.

Training sessions will take place off-site October 24 and 25. The firm will be divided into small groups, organized by level, to allow for interaction. During these sessions Anne will lead our firm through various topics including what diversity and inclusion is at BT and why it is important. Future training sessions on related topics are expected, following the completion of the first training.

The firm is excited to roll out the training and believes it will strengthen Bennett Thrasher and allow us to live out our Better Together brand.  If you have any questions on this training, or for more information about Bennett Thrasher’s Diversity and Inclusion committee, please contact Gina Miller by calling 770.396.2200.
